Finding colour in ordinary days

Colour is often quiet. A warm wall against a cool sky, a passing coat, a reflection in a train window. Look for relationships rather than isolated colours.


When editing, begin with balance rather than saturation. Keep a reference to the light you remember and make small adjustments. The goal is not a louder image, but one that feels closer to the moment.
